In the light of the huge success for Yorkshire’s athletes in the Olympics, we’re thinking about the little victories. Those hard won battles that mean lots to you – conker champion ’89 or best fancy dress when you were 7.
We’ll be talking to bands that have won competitions and how it’s affected them…or not!
To mark the anniversary of the riots that took place throughout major cities in the UK in 2011 we are sharing the thoughts of a group of  young people (working with Life Force Productions) about how the riots effected them and their community.

East Leeds FM was created back in 2003 as a pilot project run by Heads Together Productions with students from John Smeaton High School. It has grown and developed since then and in 2014 we are o pening the first-ever dedicated arts centre in East Leeds—Chapel FM.
