Keal and Cortez, a couple of young people who were involved in the IMPaCT project in June: present their first live shows… looking at the whole history of r’n'b and previewing Carnival at the end of August
5-5.30pm Eastern Promise
Interview with Alan Bolton from David Young Community Academy about the school; it’s development and the recent award of £3.2m for a new capital ‘relocation’ project. What is it and what will it bring to the area?
6-7pm Best of the Fest
It’s been the big Temple Newsam weekend in Leeds … Opera in the Park on Saturday and Party in the Park on Sunday. ELFM has been backstage to both events and will be presenting a run-down of reviews and interviews…
7-8pm Mind
The first of three programmes over the three days entitled Mind, Body and Soul… The first programme includes an interview with Leeds MIND worker Kate Balmforth as well as poetry, prose, thoughts and a quiz … all about the Mind.
8-9pm Hi Fidelity
Regular show from our FAB broadcasts – a round-up of all the best from the local music scene

Spent the morning listening to elfm. it’s bloody great. Really nice to hear it out of the studio. It sounds great and content is genuinely engaging. Feeling very proud. Here’s to the next two days. Ed
