East Leeds FM
East Leeds FM is looking for enthusiastic young people who can play a musical instrument or sing to performance standard to take part in their music courses. We will be holding a free Taster Day on Saturday 3rd November 11am-3pm at the Northern Film School (Electric Press Building, Millennium Square, Leeds LS2 3AD). On the day you’ll get to meet us, work with other young musicians, and find out about the three different courses we are running:
Next Gen Music: Work with other young musicians to create fully-developed songs; even make a music video and get an Arts Award qualification. Interested? The 6-month Next Gen course is the one for you.
Music Mondays: A 3-month course where you get to play with other young musicians as a band; jam your favourite tracks; build your dream set-list and learn new music skills.
ELFM Associate Bands: If you are a solo artist or a band who are already performing, but fancy some support planning releases, playing live and learning the business…join the Associate Band programme.

East Leeds FM was created back in 2003 as a pilot project run by Heads Together Productions with students from John Smeaton High School. It has grown and developed since then and in 2014 we are o pening the first-ever dedicated arts centre in East Leeds—Chapel FM.
